My Story
I have always been restless. I changed jobs every few years and moved frequently. No matter how much I loved where I was, I couldn’t stop thinking about the other places I could be. In 2015 - at the age of 58 - I decided to honor my inner nomad. Against everyone’s best advice (and I do mean everyone) I gave up my apartment, sold and donated nearly everything I owned, and became a full-time house sitter. I’ve been house and pet sitting almost continuously since with many of those sits being repeats. For each of these sits, I pay my own travel costs. And, I must add, choosing to become a house/pet sitter was one of the very best decisions I have ever made - and all those who tried to discourage me? They agree!

I know that finding the right house and pet sitter can be difficult. That’s why I try to meet you and your furry family members ahead of time when possible. If in-person meetings are not feasible, Skype, Zoom, and FaceTime are decent substitutes.
